Your plans. Your email choices.

EDDM Planner is a free tool from 9x12tools, operated by Seven Pillar House LLC. Contact hello@9x12tools.com with privacy questions or a request to delete your account and data.

What we collect

We use your email to verify your account and save your plans. Saved data includes your selected postal routes, plan names, calculator inputs, mailing history, and email preferences. Details entered to generate postal paperwork are used to create that document.

How the tool works

Clerk provides sign-in and email verification. Convex stores account and campaign data. Vercel hosts the app. Mapbox provides maps and location suggestions. These services receive the information necessary to provide their part of the tool, including normal connection and device information. Search requests are protected with rate limits; the app uses a keyed digest rather than storing raw IP addresses for those limits.

Marketing is your choice

We send planning tips and product offers from EDDM Planner and 9x12tools only when you opt in. We record the choice, time, and consent wording version. Resend manages email delivery and contact preferences. Unsubscribe through an email or turn off planner marketing in your account. Unsubscribing does not remove your saved plans or free access.

Private and public plans

Your plans are private by default. Publishing a coverage link makes its name, postal routes, delivery counts, and available demographic summaries visible to anyone with the link. It does not publish your email, mailing address, costs, or spot prices. You can disable the link. Anyone who receives a downloaded PDF may keep or share it.

Moving to 9x12tools

Following a 9x12tools link lets you explore the full platform. We record key product actions such as saving a plan, downloading coverage, and choosing to continue to the platform to understand whether the free planner is useful. Links include source attribution so 9x12tools can recognize planner referrals. Your private plan is not automatically imported into a 9x12tools account.

Keeping and removing data

We keep saved plans while your account is active and retain records needed to operate the service. You can delete unused plans; recorded mailings preserve a history and cannot be removed through the plan editor. Contact us for account deletion or data access requests. We may retain limited records needed to honor unsubscribe requests or legal obligations.
