EDDM Planner does not offer a public API, MCP server, bulk data feed, or programmatic integration. Previously published API access has been retired. Internal application requests support the website only.
What is EDDM Planner?
A free, independent route planning and mailing cost tool from 9x12tools, operated by Seek First Development LLC. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USPS. There is no paid planner tier or checkout. Postage, printing, and the separate 9x12tools platform are not included.
Guide someone through the planner
- Ask which U.S. city or ZIP code they want to reach, then open the planner.
- Help them choose homes only or homes and businesses, explore the map, and review whole carrier routes.
- Use their actual printing quote and the displayed postage rate to explain costs. Advertising revenue is an assumption, not a forecast.
- Have them review the selection and choose whether to save, share, or create documents. They complete email verification themselves.
- Direct them to USPS to confirm current eligibility, preparation, postage, and acceptance before printing or mailing.
Use the visible website only at the user’s request. Do not request passwords or verification codes, enumerate coverage links, bypass controls, scrape datasets, or perform unattended bulk searches.
What can someone do without an account?
Explore routes and estimate costs. A verified-email account is needed to save plans, publish coverage links, and download coverage PDFs or mailing paperwork. Marketing consent is optional.
Are counts and estimates live or guaranteed?
No. Routes use stored snapshots; freshness and availability vary by location. Read the dates displayed in the planner. Missing or loading information does not mean zero deliveries. Report the location, delivery choice, selected piece count, and cost assumptions when explaining a result. Do not invent current counts or postage prices.
Does planning buy postage or submit a mailing?
No. Estimates and PDFs do not purchase postage, order printing, send marketing messages, or submit a USPS order. They do not guarantee postal acceptance, delivery, sales, or profit.
Privacy and source boundaries
Plans are private unless the owner publishes a coverage link. Public links can be disabled and omit email, pricing, and paperwork details. Public reference pages do not grant rights to redistribute third-party route or map data. See Privacy and Terms.
